About Grace :
Grace has been practicing yoga since 1999. She is mom to 2 beautiful children, Heleina and Zach, and resides in Hong Kong since 1993.
She travelled the world as a flight attendant for 12 years and represented Cathay Pacific Airways in their worldwide people campaign "Service Straight from the Heart" in 2004.
Grace completed the highly acclaimed ‘YogaKids’ Teacher Program in the U.S. with over 500 hours of training in 2005. She studied directly with Marsha Wenig, the creator of Yogakids International and was appointed Teacher Trainer and Mentor Coordinator in Asia and Asia Pacific and since then has trained more than 800 parents, teachers and child focused professionals from all over the world teaching the Yogakids Program. Individuals with special needs are very close to Grace’s heart. She has been sharing the gifts of yoga with them and has seen the remarkable difference that yoga can do without adding to the “work”, to this population since 2007. Because of this, Grace pursued her training on “The Yoga for the Special Child” under Sonia Sumar, the founder and writer of the book with same title, and completed intensive teacher training program early of 2008.
Grace experienced total grounding through yoga, laughter and elevation! with Amy Haysman and Cheryl Crawford, creators of Grounded Yoga for Teens, when she attended the Teacher Training in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in December, 2009.
The KidzYoga in Schools! concept was born in June 2008 when Grace started teaching yoga to children and their teachers in school (P.E., Scouts, after school Yoga, Sports Day, Camps, etc.) and noted the significant benefit a FUN, educational-based yoga practice brings and how it had ‘breathed life into learning’! Grace is the Program Director of KidzYoga in Schools! and Head Teacher. She maintains a current certificate on First Aid and is also a Registered Nurse.
