Born in Hong Kong, David Braga graduated from Edinburgh University as a dentist in 1972 and started working in Hong Kong. He built a group dental practice, David Braga Associates, which he sold in 1991. He then established an environmental engineering company specializing in water treatment and energy efficiency. Perhaps this was a bit ahead of it’s time, but the business was not a financial success.
While he continues to be actively involved with environmental matters in Hong Kong, he returned to dentistry in 1997 and has been mercury free since then. He now enjoys dentistry working on his own as a solo dental practitioner with a reputation for being gentle and providing quality dentistry . He is a Member of the Fellowship of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
