President's message
“A guest never forgets the host who had treated him kindly” – Homer (not Simpson, the other one).
At this week’s meeting we met our target of having 8 guests! Woo hoo! Let’s keep that up.
With so many there, though, comes a new problem. It can be difficult to find time to talk to all of those you want to, as well as networking with the other members. To help with that we’ve attached the contact details of last meeting’s guests to this email. That way, when you are reviewing the notes you made during their 60 second presentations (you did make notes, didn’t you?) you can get back in touch with them and make contact if there are any opportunities.
Please be responsible with this information though. Don’t just add them to your general e-newsletter list. Follow good networking etiquette and make a personal connection, since you have already met them in person.
And if you invited one of these guests along, why not forward them this email so that they can see that we continue to look for business for each other throughout the week?
For next week’s guests, think about inviting someone who could act as your substitute when you go on your summer hols. They will do a much better job of it if they have seen you perform first.
The stats for the Star Attraction have been reset to zero for the start of the month, but the head of the board is already packed with the same old names. Come on guys, how about a man getting on top for a change?

Treasurer's Message
Please remember to fill out a bank auto pay form and submit it to your bank. It should be made out for HK$600 to “BNI Attraction chapter”, HSBC account number 400 374724 001, payable on the first of each month. Very important : In the reference field please put your own name, so that we can reconcile who has paid.
If you prefer to continue paying by cheque, please bring one for HK$625 to “BNI Attraction Chapter” to the next meeting. As a further simplification we are going to make it the same price each month, and $625 balances out to the correct amount.

Kanchan Panjabi, Director, Kanchan Couture
Kanch's story began in the city of Kolkota also known as the city of joy. After spending the first five years of her life in India, her family migrated to Hong Kong, which is where she lived for most of my childhood years..
Kanch studied in New York where she graduated in Economics and French. After which she moved on to London to work with fashion designer, Amanda Wakeley and embarked upon an MA in fashion design and enterprise. After living, working and completing her masters there she decided to return to Hong Kong and live her dream of start a high end women's wear label - Kanchan Couture was born.
