President's message
You know how those crazy Italian footballers run around with their shirts pulled over their head, shouting “Gooooooooal” and looking for lots of love from their team mates whenever they score? We should definitely do that next time we meet because we have been hitting some goals ourselves recently.
In the last three months we have reported deals resulting from referrals worth more than HK$6million. And for this month we have averaged 8.25 guests per meeting. Well done!
There is still a way to go on the goal of getting 45 referrals a week though, so let’s put some effort in to that. Put a note in your calendar for Tuesday that you are going to review your notes from last week and really try hard to match up a contact with at least 3 of the ask-fors you heard.
Also, please put an extra effort in to the preparation of your 60 second advert, because we are going to be visited again by the academics of the Linguistics Department of HK University. This time they are going to record our meeting and then have a team of analysts study it to find what techniques we are using to get our message across. This will be way more detailed than any feedback we have been given before. Such detail does take a while though, so it may be sometime before we get the full report.

Treasurer's Message
Please remember to pay this month’s breakfast fee if you have not done so already. The following breakfast fees are calculated according to the average number of meetings per month until the end of the term being 30 Sept:
For existing members: $625 (average for the period 1April – 30 Sept)
For newly joined members from 1st June: $637 (average for period 1st June to 30 Sept)
New members joining from next month: $650 (average for period 1 July to 30 Sept)
For members renewing please remember to bring a cheque to our meeting this Thursday.

Brett Cameron joined REDEV in 2005, being hand picked from another Canadian property company. He has been in the property business since 2003. Prior to this he has worked in private equity brokering, IT consulting and has also had various media roles including writing and photography.
Brett is originally from Melbourne, Australia and grew up in Hong Kong in the 80's, being educated both here and in Australia. ?Brett has a passion for photography and being a great Dad.
