Tak is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He qualified in 1978 with Price Waterhouse, one of the largest accountancy firms worldwide.
He is among the first group of accountants in Hong Kong to obtain the qualfication of Certified Financial Planners in 2002. He is also a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Society of Certified Insurance Practitioners.
He also holds the degree of MBA.
